Paul Shenkman is a restaurateur and proprietor of Sam's Chowder House, a New England style seafood restaurant and market, located in Half Moon Bay.

A long-time restaurateur, Paul previously owned Pasta Moon and Cetrella Bistro and Cafe, also in Half Moon Bay. As a "hands-on" restaurant operator, Paul can be found most days at his newest venture, Sam's Chowder House.

Overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Half Moon Bay, Sam’s offers a casual, fresh seafood experience reminiscent of an East Coast seafood house. Every seat enjoys panoramic ocean views, inside or out. With extensive outdoor seating, guests can relax on Adirondack chairs by fire pits overlooking the ocean. The extensive seafood menu includes fresh fish — grilled, broiled or sautéed, live Maine lobsters, fresh local crabs, lobster rolls, and more. Sam’s Seafood Market sells fresh fish and prepared seafood for the patio, beach or home.
