I am a big fan of soft serve ice cream, and we have recently changed our soft serve machine to be 100% Strauss organic -- amazing stuff. My favorite way to eat it is drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and topped with sea salt. Really. It sounds kind of bizarre, but it actually tastes like caramel. The rich flavor of the olive oil and sweetness of the ice cream combine with the salt to make a delicious combo. It’s so good that we’ve added it to the menu at Sam’s. So far everyone who has tried it agrees that it’s an amazing taste.
